Dave Dixon oversees all development operations, including project financing, product strategy and conceptualization for the Norsouth Companies. He also serves as a General Partner in all owned or developed properties. Since joining the firm in 1988, he has lead the firm from a focus on rural apartment properties, to its current status as one of Georgia’s leading developers of seniors, mixed-income, mixed-use, and mixed-tenure communities. Mr. Dixon has been developing multifamily properties for over 23 years, utilizing conventional and tax-advantaged financing. He has been responsible for the creation of over 6,000 multifamily homes and 50 properties, representing over $500 Million, in Georgia, Tennessee, South Carolina and North Carolina.

Mr. Dixon attended theUniversity of Kentucky and graduated from Emory University in 1976 with a BA in Economics and History. He currently serves on the Board of the Georgia Affordable Housing Coalition.
