Thomas Connolly
Vice President, Property Management
Thomas Connolly joined NorSouth in 1991, bringing 15 years of experience in multifamily residential management. He directs NorSouth Management, the company’s division responsible for the operation of all apartment properties for which NorSouth serves as General Partner.
From 1976 through 1981, Connolly served as Finance Manager, Property Manager, then Senior Property Manager with the Crisp Company’s Southern Division (which combined, through the acquisition, the operations of the Mayer Company and Triangle Management Company). While there, he ran all management operations for a portfolio of 48 properties, including apartments, commercial/retail centers and condominium associations.
In 1982, Connolly joined Flynn Development Corporation as head of property management for that company’s growing portfolio of apartment properties, and in 1985, he helped form Flynn Management Corporation. As managing partner, he was in charge of operating both company-owned and fee-managed properties in Florida and Georgia, including FmHA 515 apartment complexes, conventionally-financed apartment communities, residential associations and office properties.
A 1974 graduate of the University of South Florida, Connolly holds a BA in Business Administration. He is also a member of and past president of the Management Committee of the Council for Rural Housing and Development.
